An inspirational story

Donald Luka, 1 of the students who completed his Level 1 training in November 2020, used the skills he acquired at Boitjhorisong Welding Training Centre, together with the toolkit he received, to put food on the table for his family.

He manufactures various steel items according to his clients’ needs. In December 2020, he assembled his first braai stand. In addition to building braai stands he also manufactures burglar bars.

Donald says that as a result of the training he received he was able to feed his family. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to participate as a student at Boitjhorisong Welding Training Centre.

Donald is one of the students selected to participate in Level 2 Argon (TIG) welding training.
