Growing Together in Dwaalboom
In Dwaalboom, within the Thabazimbi Local Municipality, Aurex partnered with Aobakwe Boitumelo Lebogang (Pty) Ltd, a 100% Black-owned Level 1 EME specialising in sanitation and waste management. The locally rooted business has a strong reputation and ambition to grow, and to support its next stage of expansion, Aurex’s Supplier Development programme helped them acquire critical equipment, including VIP and Porta-loo sanitation units, a 2000L Honey Sucker with Diesel Bowser, and a 2000L Water Bowser. These assets have strengthened their operational capacity, enabling the company to service projects independently, respond efficiently on site, and scale with confidence. Today, Aobakwe Boitumelo Lebogang (Pty) Ltd is better positioned to serve municipalities, construction projects, and remote energy sites, while Aurex benefits from a strong, capable local supplier.
Food and Trees for Africa: Donated 1,000 trees to 27 Schools,11 locations, 6 provinces
At Aurex, our commitment to positive change is evident in our focus on sustainable investing, addressing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors for holistic improvements locally and globally. Aligned with a national greening initiative, we've partnered with Food and Trees for Africa (FTFA) to enhance lives and landscapes. In 2023, Aurex Constructors donated 1,000 trees to 27 schools across 11 locations in 6 provinces, including Thusong Primary School, Ivory Park Secondary School, and the Balimi Community food garden project. Our commitment extends beyond immediate actions, reflecting our belief in leaving a lasting impact on individuals and communities. Aurex strives to be a catalyst for transformative change, building resilient communities and fostering pride and confidence.
