This Statement explains how we obtain, use and disclose your personal information, as is required by the Protection of Personal Information Act (“POPIA”).
At Aurex we are committed to protecting your privacy and to ensure that your personal information is collected and used properly, lawfully and transparently.

Who is the responsible party for processing personal information
Aurex Constructors (Pty) Ltd (registration number: 2006/002013/07 (“Aurex”) is a private company, duly incorporated in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
We provide quality end-to-end solutions that span Construction, Turnarounds and Maintenance projects across all energy sectors.
For which purpose do we process personal information
We collect and process your personal information mainly to provide you with access to our services, to help us improve our offerings to you and sending you updates about our product and service catalogue. The type of information we collect will depend on the purpose for which it is collected and used. Where possible, we will inform you what information you are required to provide to us and what information is optional.
We will only collect information that we need for that purpose and is based on the following legal grounds:

|Where we enter into a contract for the provision of products or services, we may need to collect and process your personal data so that we can meet our contractual obligations. This also applies to any pre- contract activity, such as providing a quote or details regarding the products or services that you have expressed an interest in.

How long do we retain your personal information?
Personal information gathered is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and no longer than 5 years after (unless there is a regulatory reason to hold it for a longer period of time in which case it will be deleted once no longer required for that purpose)

We do not pass on or sell online personal information to third parties. We may however share information within our organisation and in some cases, it will be necessary to pass information to our pension or share administrators. This may include our employees, agents, contractors and sub-contractors. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.
