Stuart Kent is an accomplished executive and visionary leader. With a background in Mechanical Engineering from Durban University of Technology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Leadership from Nottingham Trent University and having completed the prestigious Harvard University Advance Management Program, he brings a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to his role.
Stuart’s career spans over two decades, during which he has worked in various sectors, including oil and gas, pulp and paper, polymers, and mining, across multiple countries. He joined the company in 2000 as a Field Engineer and has since held various management roles, gaining extensive experience in complex turnaround and construction projects.
In December 2020, Stuart led a management buyout, establishing Aurex Constructors as a wholly South African owned entity. Under his leadership, the company has experienced remarkable growth, with strong financial performance reflected in impressive EBIT figures.
Recognised for his ability to build and empower high-performing teams, Stuart has formed a talented and diverse leadership team at Aurex Constructors. Together, they drive the company’s growth strategy, fueled by a passion for innovation and excellence.

Prabashni Naicker is a seasoned professional with more than 28 years of experience across Education, ICT, Engineering, and Construction industries. She holds expertise in bid management, project management, human resource management, and strategic project implementation.
Prabashni completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Kwa Zulu Natal in 2003.Currently serving as the Director of People and Strategic Projects at Aurex Constructors, Prabashni leads the development of people and employee wellness programs, fostering a positive work environment.
She works closely with the CEO to execute strategic projects aligned with the company’s vision and goals.Prabashni Naicker is a visionary leader committed to driving organisational excellence and delivering impactful results.

Nthime Khoele is a graduate of the University of Cape Town and its Graduate School of Business.
Nthime is a co-founder and co-Managing Partner of Bopa Moruo Private Equity, a private equity investment management firm, managing over R1.5 billion of equity capital across its private equity funds. Prior to founding Bopa Moruo in 2012, Nthime was a director in Brait’s private equity business, which he first joined in 2000, after starting his career at RMB Asset Management.
Nthime also serves on the boards of various Bopa Moruo portfolio companies, including as Chairman of Respublica Group and as a non-executive director of WACO International, Skynet Worldwide Couriers International (SA and UK), Aurex Holdings and Dipula Income Fund. Nthime also serves on the boards of two non-profits, as Chairman of the Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa NPC and as director of the St Mary’s School Foundation NPC.

Vivek is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at HEC Paris.
Vivek serves as a Non-Executive Director and actively participates in the business’s Social and Ethics, and Audit and Risk board committees.
His previous experience includes roles in the finance function of both listed and unlisted businesses and he is currently a partner at a Corporate Finance firm specialising in mergers and acquisitions.
Finance Director
Sheri Bartlett is an accomplished Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in technical accounting and financial management. She completed her studies at the University of Johannesburg, earning a BCom Accounting (Honours) degree and subsequently passing both parts of the qualifying examinations and registering as a CA (SA).
Sheri started her career as an Article Clerk at Ernst & Young, where she gained valuable experience in the Retail, Banking, and Logistics industries. In 2011, she joined the company as a Financial Accountant and has since held various management roles, continuously expanding her expertise.
Her meticulous approach, analytical skills, and in-depth industry knowledge contribute to effective financial decision-making and the company’s long-term success.

Andiswa Mjuleka is a graduate of the University of Cape Town and the University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science and is a CFA Charter holder and a CA (SA).
Andiswa is a Senior Transactor at Bopa Moruo Private Equity, a private equity investment management firm, managing over R1.5 billion of equity capital across its various private equity funds.
Prior to joining Bopa Moruo in 2017, Andiswa was an investment associate at Capital Eye Investment Holding. Andiswa began her career as a sell-side equity analyst at SBG Securities working within the Telecommunications and Media sector team performing quantitative and qualitative research on JSE listed companies.
Andiswa is a member of the board at Waco Africa, Skynet Worldwide Couriers SA, Respublica Student Living, DSD Shopfitters and Flexible Packages Convertors. She chairs the Audit & Risk sub-committees of various boards. Andiswa also serves on the board of a non-profit, the Respublica Student Beneficiary Trust.

Sahil Bhimjee, is a qualified CA (SA), having graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) with a Higher Diploma in Accounting in 2014.
Post studies, Sahil worked for a year at the University of the Witwatersrand as an Academic Trainee, lecturing and tutoring undergraduate and post graduate students at the School of Accounting. Thereafter, Sahil completed his remaining two years of articles at KPMG South Africa within the Consumer Markets and Technology division based in Johannesburg.
Sahil spent time with KPMG in Silicon Valley post articles, following which he joined the Absa CIB Debt team in July 2018, working on numerous leveraged finance and investment grade debt financing transactions across sector. Sahil recently joined the RMB Ventures team in February 2022.

Johan Claassen is an accomplished technology leader with over 30 years of experience in Information Technology and nearly two decades in leadership roles. His career spans multiple sectors, including IT, Financial Services, Marketing, Publishing, Industrial, Mining & Minerals, and Oil & Gas, giving him a broad and strategic perspective on technology-driven business transformation.
Johan holds advanced qualifications in leadership and project management, having completed the Project Management Program and Management Development Program (MDP) at the University of Stellenbosch Business School. He further strengthened his leadership capabilities through the People Leader Development Program with LHH Knightsbridge. In addition, Johan is a Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), accredited by the EC-Council, and has earned certification from IT Training Corporation.
Starting his career in 1994, Johan has built expertise across the full IT spectrum, from infrastructure design and cabling to systems administration, network security, and enterprise IT management. He has successfully led complex IT network deployments and migration projects for organisations of all sizes, working across diverse platforms and technologies. His hands-on technical foundation, combined with strategic leadership, positions him as a trusted advisor in driving innovation and operational excellence at Aurex.

Grant Villet is an experienced Operations executive with a strong background in the Oil & Gas, and Petrochemical sectors. He obtained his National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Cape Town, South Africa.
Since joining the company in 2006 he has held various roles, accumulating a wealth of knowledge and experience along the way.
Grant is an innovative leader in the company, spearheading its expansion into international markets. With his strategic mindset and extensive industry knowledge, he is driving the company’s growth and success on a global scale.
Grant also serves as turnaround specialist for the organisation. His expertise in identifying and implementing effective strategies has been instrumental in revitalising and transforming the company.

Delvin Bühler is a highly skilled operations executive with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. With a diploma from Durban University of Technology and additional leadership training in the United Kingdom through Development Dimensions International, he has honed his expertise in delivering exceptional projects.
Since joining the company in 2004, Delvin has excelled in management roles, both locally and internationally, including assignments in Russia and Canada. He possesses a deep understanding of navigating challenging physical environments and consistently achieving outstanding results.
Currently leading Aurex operations in South Africa, Delvin oversees Construction, Maintenance, and Shutdown projects across all energy sectors. His strong business acumen and focus on building customer relationships propels the success of Aurex operations while positioning the company for a sustainable future.

Clive Garner is a seasoned leader in Operational, Project and Construction management with over 30 years of experience across Africa and the Middle East. Professionally registered with the South African Council for Construction and Project Management, Clive holds a professional Construction Management registration that reflects his technical expertise and commitment to industry standards. He further strengthened his leadership credentials by completing the Senior Executive Development Program at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria.
Throughout his career, Clive has successfully delivered complex EPCM, EPC, Construction and Operations and Maintenance projects in sectors including oil, gas, chemicals, mining, and power. His ability to navigate challenging environments and drive operational excellence has earned him a reputation for delivering outstanding results.
As Sector Director for Oil, Gas, Chemicals & Mining, Clive plays a pivotal role in Aurex Constructors’ growth strategy. Under his leadership, the business has expanded its service portfolio to include civil works, tankage, and specialised solutions, while actively pursuing global opportunities. His strategic vision continues to position Aurex as a trusted partner in industrial services.
Chief Development Officer
Peter Pelser is an accomplished professional with a strong background in Contract Management and Quantity Surveying. He completed his studies at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, earning a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying degree. In recognition of his expertise, he gained professional membership to the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 2012.
Peter Pelser is highly experienced in the Engineering and Construction industry with a career spanning over 15 years. He has worked in diverse sectors such as oil and gas, heavy industrial, renewables, and civils, gaining valuable expertise. Since joining the company in 2014, he has excelled in various management roles.
Currently, Peter serves as the driving force behind Business Development, Proposals and Estimating, Procurement, and Commercial operations at Aurex Constructors, a role he assumed in June 2016. Leading a dynamic and talented team, he formulates robust strategies that support the business’s objectives and fuel its growth. With his inspired leadership, the team continuously develops sustainable approaches that align with the business’ core values and goals.
Legal Counsel, Compliance & Governance Manager
Rohini Pillay is a highly qualified legal professional with extensive international expertise in various areas, including Corporate Governance, Construction & Engineering, Information Technology, Commercial, Litigation, and Labour Law.
She holds a LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) degree and an LL.M in Maritime Law (Master of Laws). Additionally, she is an Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
With her strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships, she fosters collaboration and breaks down silos within organisations to achieve synergistic benefits.
Rohini’s current focus lies in strategic initiatives, aligning her skills to meet the organisation’s objectives. She excels in taking initiative, working independently under pressure, and maintaining a meticulous approach while also being a strong collaborator. Her keen eye for detail ensures that fundamental business processes are understood and realised, while keeping sight of the “Big Picture.”
Chief Sustainability Officer
Dirk Botha is a Mining Engineering graduate from the University of Pretoria, with an Honours degree. He also holds certification in Advanced Business Risk Management from the University of Cape Town.
With a career spanning almost 3 decades, Dirk has significant experience in the engineering, construction, oil and gas, and mining and metals sectors. He has worked in various locations, including South Africa, Zambia, Mozambique, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as risk and operations manager.
In 2021, Dirk assumed the position of Risk and Compliance Manager at the company. In this role, he ensures the systematic application of the strategic integrated risk management program across the business. He plays a key role in understanding internal and external risks to the business, supporting the decision-making processes of the executives.

Antoine De Pierres is an accomplished professional with a strong background in industrial relations and human resources management. He completed a BCom in Human Resources at University of South Africa (Unisa) in 2019. Additionally, he obtained a Management Program Diploma from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria, South Africa.

Vusi Nkosi is a purpose-driven leader with over 20 years of experience in the Construction Industry, combining technical expertise with a passion for people development. He holds a Business Analysis qualification from Rhodes University, a Project and Program Management certification from Cranefield College, and is a certified PROSCI Change Management Practitioner. In 2013, Vusi completed the Leadership Development Program (LDP) at the University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).
As Head of People at Aurex, Vusi is committed to creating a positive, inclusive work environment that empowers individuals and drives organisational success. He has led transformative, people-centred initiatives such as Culture Transformation and Leadership Development Programs, reflecting his belief that unlocking human potential is key to sustainable growth. Country Manager: Namibia
Quintin brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the fields of marketing, logistics and operations management, making him a valuable addition to our team. Quintin joins us from Namdock Namibia, where he served as the Marketing Manager for over 6 years. His strategic insights and ability to generate new revenue streams significantly contributed to the company’s growth and retention. Prior to Namdock Namibia, Quintin held key roles in Logistics Support Services and Elgin Brown & Hamer.
As an Operations Executive at Logistics Support Services, he excelled in overseeing logistics, managing complex projects, and enhancing process efficiencies. At Elgin Brown & Hamer, his role as Key Accounts Manager saw him successfully handle commercial issues, client requirements and international business development. With over 2 decades of experience in the logistics and maritime industries, including senior positions such as Operations Manager and Senior Logistics Coordinator, Quintin has built a strong foundation in handling vessel and rig operations, both onshore and offshore. His expertise in managing logistics for large-scale industrial repairs and modifications will be instrumental in driving our projects forward.
Quintin will form part of the senior management team and be responsible for developing and executing the in-country growth strategy and ensuring the sustainability of the Namibia business. We are confident that Quintin’s wealth of experience, combined with his innovative approach and dedication to excellence, will be instrumental in steering the successful setup and operations of Aurex in Namibia.
Country Manager: Mozambique
Tony Ferreira brings a unique combination of legal training, diplomatic service, and private sector leadership to his role as Country Manager for Mozambique.
He began his career in the South African diplomatic service while studying Law at the University of Pretoria and UNISA, serving in international postings across Brazil, Angola, Portugal, and Mozambique. This early experience shaped his deep understanding of international relations and regional dynamics.
Following his diplomatic career, Tony transitioned into the private sector, where he has spent over two decades advising international businesses on market entry and operations in Mozambique. Through his consulting work, he has played a key role in supporting foreign investment and enterprise development across a range of industries.
Tony’s entrepreneurial background includes leadership roles in business brokerage, hospitality, and construction. He previously served as Country Manager for a multinational construction and engineering firm, where he led the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects across Mozambique.
Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Afrikaans, Tony is recognised for his strategic insight, operational leadership, and strong networks across both public and private sectors.
Operations Director of Renewable Energy Solutions
Herman Bührmann is a skilled professional in the field of engineering, construction, and maintenance. He obtained a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Centurion College in South Africa and holds an Electrical Trade Certificate. Registered as an Installation Electrician under the South African Electrical Installation Regulations.
Herman embarked on his career in 2002 as an Electrician in the security industry in the United Kingdom before transitioning into the electrical sector in South Africa. Over the course of his career, he has assumed various roles, accumulating over 20 years of experience. His expertise spans a wide range of projects, including coal-fired power stations, automotive assembly, passenger railway stations and tunnels, pipelines, and solar energy plants.
Currently, Herman serves as Operations Manager for Renewable Energy within our company.
In this role, he spearheads renewable energy opportunities, oversees ongoing projects, and develops strategic initiatives. His dedication and expertise contribute significantly to our renewable energy endeavours.

Sherwin, a CFA Charter holder and certified FRM, graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a B.Bus.Sc (Bachelor of Business Science Finance) Honours degree.
Sherwin is an experienced Senior Transactor at RMB Ventures. Since joining Rand Merchant Bank in 2008 and transitioning to RMB Ventures in 2013, Sherwin has evaluated and successfully led a number of deals.
He represents RMB Ventures on the boards and sub-committees of Vox Telecoms, Stage Zero, Gemelli Clothing, Biosciences (Efekto and Marltons), PAVI South Africa and Aurex.
