Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Stuart Kent

Stuart Kent leads the Aurex Constructors business in his position as the CEO. With more than 20 years of experience gained working with SNC-Lavalin and leading the sub-Saharan Africa team in the management buyout of the SNC-Lavalin South African entity, he enjoys providing strategic direction for the company.  As Captain of the Aurex Constructors ship, he is responsible for driving the company’s vision and identifying growth opportunities whilst maintaining a high level of social responsibility wherever the company does business. Stuart believes that if you can measure it you can improve it. Under his leadership the business grows from strength to strength, both operationally and financially.
HR/IR & Integrity Director

Prabashni Naicker

Prabashni Naicker holds a Master’s in Business Administration and is certified as an Ethics Officer by the Ethics Institute. In her current role a key responsibility is providing strategic advice on Ethics and HR to the business leadership. She has implemented an Ethics program designed to ensure that the company is not vulnerable to challenges that might be prevalent in the Construction Industry. As people are central to Aurex, Prabashni and her team focus on developing innovative systems and processes aimed at attracting and maintaining talent in the business whilst supporting the CEO in maintaining a positive culture across the business.

Delvin Bühler

Delvin Bühler has over 15 years of construction experience in the petrochemical, power and mining industry across Sub-Saharan Africa and abroad. With a solid understanding of the industry and multi-sector experience, Delvin prides himself on being able to deliver flexible, innovative solutions that not only impact customers but the industry as a whole. He is a team player that believes that in order to excel and grow the business, you need to mentor and empower others.

Operations Director: Turnarounds & Maintenance

Grant Villet

Grant Villet is an expert in the field of maintenance and shutdowns and has been in the industry for the last 20 years. Under his leadership and with a dedicated team, Aurex Constructors has become the leading maintenance and shutdown contractor in the country. At the centre of his work lies a passion for ensuring responsible growth, providing quality service, and enhancing sustainability. 
Finance Director

Sheri Bartlett

Sheri Bartlett holds the position of Financial Director and is responsible for all financial related functions, including supporting both the finance and payroll teams. She holds a BCom Honours in Accounting, is registered as a CA (SA) and has been part of the Aurex Constructors team since 2011. One of her primary roles is working with the executive team to ensure that all business functions remain profitable.

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Vivek Maharaj

Vivek Maharaj is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Social and Ethics Committee. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting, is registered as a CA (SA), and is pursuing an MBA at HEC Paris. Vivek is a Partner at a Corporate Finance Advisory firm, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, and joined the team in 2020. Vivek focuses his extensive corporate finance, private equity, and advisory experiences to help customers grow their businesses.
