Donation of 300 school chairs and Garden equipment

Ivory Park High School, located in Tembisa, Midrand Johannesburg, operates as a Section 21 school, managing its finances and responsibilities, including ordering stationery, textbooks, and handling utility bills. Classified under quintile 2 as a no-fee institution, the school faces challenges related to resource shortages. Aurex Constructors took a significant step by donating 300 school chairs and garden equipment to Ivory Park High School. This donation holds particular significance as the school initiated an anti-bullying campaign, assigning designated color school chairs to each grade. This proactive measure addresses the issue of older learners bullying younger ones due to a shortage of chairs. Aurex Constructors’ contribution not only supports the school’s resource needs but also aligns with efforts to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Kenhardt Primary School

Donated 150 projectors and projector screens

Aurex Constructors generously donated 10 projector screens and 10 projectors to Kenhardt Primary, located in Klein Karoo, just 120 km away from Upington. Recognising the school’s aspiration to transition to a more digital learning experience, this contribution aims to transform the educational landscape. These visual aids will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning journey for students, empowering them to unlock their full potential. The hope is that these projectors will contribute to bridging educational gaps, ensuring students are well-equipped for success in the future.

Groblershoop High School

150 tables and chairs donated

Groblershoop High School, located 104 km away from Kenhardt in the Northern Cape, is a Section 21 school. As such, the school is responsible for managing its finances, ordering stationery and textbooks, handling utility bills, and conducting its own maintenance under ACD functions. Classified under quintile 2 as a no-fee institution, Groblershoop High School faces financial constraints. They reached out for assistance, particularly in acquiring school tables and chairs, essential for providing learners with a sufficient and comfortable learning experience. Responding to their needs, Aurex Constructors generously donated 150 tables and chairs to support the school.

Kenhardt Primary School

Donated projectors, projector screens, tables and chairs.

Aurex Constructors generously contributed to Kenhardt High School by donating 14 projector screens, 14 projectors, and 60 single school tables and chairs. Situated in Klein Karoo, 120 km away from Upington, the school received these furnishings to provide a relaxed and comfortable environment for matric students during exams. Additionally, the projectors and screens support the school’s move towards digital education, aiming to enhance the overall educational experience for learners. This donation reflects Aurex Constructors’ commitment to empowering students and fostering an environment where they can unlock their full potential.

Tsholetsega Public School, situated in Kagiso, Krugersdorp, Mogale, Gauteng Province, South Africa, is an ordinary primary school specialising in standard subjects. As a Section 21 school, it receives allocated finances from the department and manages its own affairs, including ordering stationery, and textbooks, handling utility bills, and self-maintenance under ACD functions. Classified under quintile 2 as a no-fee institution, Tsholetsega Public School plays a crucial role in the community. On July 20, 2023, Aurex Constructors made a meaningful contribution by donating school stationery, 124 chairs, 31 tables, 3 projectors, 6 laminators, and 2 10,000-liter water tanks to support the school’s educational endeavours.

Kusasalethu Secondary School, located in Embalenhle, Secunda Mpumalanga, stands out as a top-performing institution in the province, achieving an impressive Matric pass rate of 83.5% in 2022. Notably, it is the sole high school in the Secunda area offering both technical and academic subjects. Aurex Constructors has been a dedicated supporter of Kusasalethu Secondary School since 2021 which continues to this day. Our contributions have focused on enhancing the school’s infrastructure, including the provision of dry flush toilets, school tables and chairs, netball kits, sanitary pads, and audio-visual equipment. This longstanding partnership reflects our commitment to fostering a conducive and well-equipped learning environment for the students at Kusasalethu Secondary School.

Whiteboards & 150 Projectors donation

On August 23, 2022, Aurex Constructors Transformation Team donated 20 whiteboards to Bonginsimbi Secondary School in Emalahleni, Witbank, aiming to enhance the learners’ educational experience. As Women’s Month concludes, we applaud our educators for their outstanding contributions to shaping future leaders. Special thanks to the Aurex team for facilitating the handover.

Looking ahead to 2023, the school plans to introduce projectors to classrooms, reflecting a commitment to transformative learning. Projectors serve as vital visual aids, elevating content delivery, encouraging collaboration, and fostering real-world connections. This initiative empowers students to unlock their full potential, bridging educational gaps for equal opportunities in our ever-evolving world.
