Aurex sponsor the Mighty Centine F.C soccer team as part of their mission to add value to the communities in the areas where they work. The teams coach Bafana Masango began the initiative to give children a place of safety where they can focus on learning how to play soccer. The children practise hard, and not only grow their talents, but also learn discipline, dedication, and valuable life skills. The team gives them a place to belong, where they can interact with friends away from the dangers on the streets.
The Mighty Centine F.C focus and practise paid off as they beat the Aurex Seniors 4 goals to 2. Both teams were in great spirits throughout the game and even some Aurex ladies joined the last few minutes of the game.
