Description:
The Fine Ash Dam 6 (FAD6) project comprises of the construction of a new fine ash dam to remove ash generated by Sasol’s operations. The FAD6 facility replaces the previous FAD5 facility which was demolished. Aurex’s scope included the construction of the Outside Battery Limits Slurry Transfer System of the FAD6 project.
The OBL Slurry Transfer System comprised of 15kms of piping, including the associated structural steel supports, mechanical and electrical equipment, instrumentation and associated civil works.
